Kick STARTER 5-10-5

BioPlex Kick Starter 5-10-5™

Professional Root-Establishment Fertility for Faster Starts, Stronger Roots & Better Plant Performance

Kick Starter 5-10-5™ is a specialized starter fertilizer designed to provide professional turf and ornamental managers with targeted nutrition during the critical establishment and recovery periods when developing roots require readily available nutrients. Its 5-10-5 analysis—5% nitrogen, 10% soluble phosphate, and 5% soluble potash—is enhanced with fulvic acid, Leonardite humic acid, 18 L-amino acids, a wetting agent, and cold-processed Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed. The elevated soluble phosphate component provides targeted phosphorus nutrition for programs where root establishment and early plant development are priorities. Nitrogen supports vegetative growth and recovery, while potassium contributes to overall plant function and stress tolerance. Together, the balanced nutrient profile provides a practical foundation for establishing and maintaining vigorous turf and ornamental plants.

Fulvic acid and Leonardite humic acid complement the mineral nutrition by supporting nutrient availability and movement within the root-zone environment. 18 L-amino acids provide additional organic compounds associated with plant metabolic activity, while the wetting agent promotes more uniform solution distribution and root-zone contact. Cold-processed Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed adds naturally derived seaweed compounds to the formulation, supporting plant vigor during establishment and periods of environmental or cultural stress. Kick Starter 5-10-5 is ideal for new turf establishment, overseeding, renovation, ornamental planting, transplanting, nursery production, landscape installation, and deep-root feeding applications.

It is particularly valuable where poor establishment, transplant stress, compacted soils, limited root development, or seasonal stress can delay plant recovery and performance. The Professional Advantage: Give developing roots a stronger nutritional foundation while helping plants establish faster, develop stronger root systems, and transition more successfully into healthy long-term growth.
