Product Descriptions PRO-TECH controls turf and ornamental fungal, bacterial and viral plant pathogens and algae. PRO-TECH Algicide & Disinfectant is a liquid concentrate for agricultural, horticulture, golf course, commercial and home & recreational use. PRO-TECH is a concentrated blend of quaternary amines that will not separate when diluted with water, and is a good wetting agent. PRO-TECH is labeled for use on many ornamentals, horticultural crops, lawns, golf courses, and commercial cool and warm season turf. PRO-TECH is a general purpose disinfectant and sanitizer for hard surface areas & mowing equipment. PRO-TECH controls algae in fountains, water displays, and ponds. Can be used as a control for mosquito larva. PRO-TECH is biodegradable and is more effective and safer than chlorine bleaches. Pro-Tech is a curative. In most cases it kills fungus or bacteria within 20 minutes, remains active until it biodegrades in about 48 hours. Since Pro-Tech is non-systemic and water soluble, rain or heavy dew can wash it off the plant surface. Apply Pro-Tech at the first sign of infestation. It should be applied every 10-15 days as a control. In severe cases, it may be applied every 5 days. Application of Pro-Tech is most effective when diluted in water and applied as a separate treatment. When combined with certain chemicals, Pro-Tech will become ineffective. Need more information?
